Refering to the unique architecture of the former childrens home "City of the Children" (built by architect Anton Schweighofer in 1973 and shut down in 2003), Tanz*Hotel and GroupGravity created a scenario by setting up a journey through the emty area of the swimmingpool. The texture of five space-stations with five dancers performing and the audience travelling through, where the initial points of the choreography aswell as for the live performed music and interactive soundenvironment. Shiftings and intersections, dance in augmented reality spaces, the human movement as a media interface, feedback, echo and memory gave us the subjects and approaches of the performance. Permanent*Transition - a journey through a childs dream - bringing back life to the visionary and beautiful architecture by music and dance.
