AAR TERM 22 / 2023

 Bert Gstettner

"Through my more than 30 years long experience as a dancer, choreographer and producer, I’m offering my artistic guidance to a younger generation of dance-artists and accompany their development and future positioning. As a friendly accompanying counterpart to them, I will stand by them in their individual artistic processes. By opening up the Tanz*Hotel home base, with its studios, production office, library, costume fund and other resources, I offer an exciting and helpful environment for residing artists."

Inge Kaindlstorfer
"Mentoring means an empathic way of accompanying the artist  - how and where it is necessary - within their process of developing a piece. I see myself in the service of the artist, I like to watch and be attentive as a witness, I like to listen, ask questions and give feed-back."

Andrea Nagl
"As a mentor I want to be an empathetic companion and conversation partner at eye level with the artist. According to the Socratic 'midwifery method' I want to create a space, where my counterparts can find their own way of realization - while respect for their ideas, style and goals is always the focus of attention."
