Children’s joy of movement and their natural impulse to move are the starting points for this course. Music of different styles and cultures inspires different qualities in our dance; the new is explored and creatively varied. We develop small choreographies, improvise with given structures, and dance freely. With our inner imagination, we become dancing animals, plants, objects, and much more. Dance and movement games lead us through wild whirling sequences to calm, concentrated movements and relaxing situations. In all this diversity, children can introduce their own style and express their own individuality. Course contents: contemporary dance technique, improvisation, learning choreographies, dance games, acrobatics.
