Choreographer´s Platform Austria (ChoreografInnen Plattform Österreich)
Bert Gstettner was, among Nikolaus Selimov and Daniel Aschwanden, initiator and co-founder of the ChoreografInnenplattform in 1997. The aim was to establish a dance house for the independent szene in Vienna. The efforts ended in the construction of Tanzquartier Wien in 2001.
TANZ*RAUM Symposia
Bert Gstettner was initiator of the (originally planned as a nine-part) symposium series Tanz*Raum for choreographers working in Austria. In each federal state a multi-day programme of events with a subject-related exchange of information was to take place in order to increase the willingness to engage in dialogue and address new audiences.
